A home to feel Kandy, the Kandyan way
Over one century old traditional house in Kandy named Shangri La by the family, is inspired by the valley Shangri la described in the Fictional Novel Lost Horizon (1933)by James Hilton. The meaning of Shangri la often represents a hidden paradise. It also might be used to represent Perfection that is sought by humanity in the form of Love, Happiness or Ideals.
Situated just above the Kandy lake, the house is surrounded by a lush green garden and is the ideal place to unwind and to enjoy the nearby World heritage City, Kandy.
